Pet Portraits Image Guidelines

The most important step in creating your custom pet portrait is the photo you upload. The quality of your image directly determines the detail, clarity, and overall finish of your final artwork.

Use a Clear, Well-Lit Photo

Upload a high-quality photo taken in natural daylight or a bright room. Make sure the image is sharp, not blurry, and free of heavy filters so we can capture accurate colors and details.

Show the Full Face & Neck

Your dog’s entire face and neck must be clearly visible. No cropped ears, chin, or head. Avoid shadows covering the eyes or muzzle.

Front-Facing Works Best

For the strongest result, your dog should be looking at the camera at eye level. Other angles are welcome, but the portrait will match the exact pose shown.

Good

  • Pet facing camera at eye level
  • Great lighting
  • Face & neck are clearly visible

Bad

  • Angled face & not at eye level
  • Low lighting & heavy shadows

Bad

  • Pet laying down
  • Head & neck not completely visible
